Wessex String Quartet

The Wessex String Quartet is a group of highly talented young musicians who all performed with the Wessex Youth Orchestra.
Formed in 2003 the group has won several prizes including the Gli Amitri Della Musica Cup for most outstanding performance in the Bournemouth Music Festival. The Group reguarly performs across the UK and also plays for many weddings and functions each year.
Although all the members are studying at Universities and collages across the country they still find the time to get together regularly to enjoy playing new and exciting music.

Next concert

Once again the wessex string quartet will be performing (with some celebrated guests) at Broadstone URC on Higher Blandford Road in December

The chamber music concert is part of the YPCO recital concert series. Entrance is free however a retiring collection will be made and donations sent to Julias House Childrens Hospice.
